Steps towards implementation

The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia has a National Environment and Health Action Plan (NEHAP) to implement commitments in environment and health.

In June 2004, the CEHAPE priorities were adopted by the government, who approved and accepted the Budapest Conference report and the commitments made, and an intersectoral CEHAPE Task Force was created. A national CEHAP office is to be opened in the Public Health Institute, with use of its website.

Visit the WHO website. It can help you find out more about what your government has to say about its activities for children’s environment and health. For information and views from NGOs, stay on these pages.
