Steps towards implementation

The National Action Programme on Environment and Health (NEHAP) will be reviewed in 2006, and plans are being developed for its continuation. The focus will be more on actions than on research, as is the case in the current programme.

A CEHAP is being developed as part of the renewed NEHAP, incorporating several other ongoing policies, programmes and initiatives that implicitly or explicitly concern children’s health and living environment.

Visit the WHO website. It can help you find out more about what your government has to say about its activities for children’s environment and health. For information and views from NGOs, stay on these pages.
