Name of the organization: Environmental and Health Services, Stafford Borough Council

Title of the project: Water in Schools

The project aims to ensure all children have access to, and are encouraged to drink clean water, preferably chilled throughout the school day. By reducing the consumption of drinks high in sugar content, and with little nutritional value, both of which contribute to a rise in obesity and poor dental health, the project hopes to help children achieve a more balanced diet thus improving general health, behaviour and learning ability.
