France: indoor pollution and epidemiological studies

"The French NEHAP includes specific actions toward children. A survey on exposure to indoor air pollution has been taking place since 2003, collecting data from 700 dwellings for risk assessment. The next phase of this study will particularly concern schools. A guidebook on environment and health risks in buildings where children are present will be produced for local authorities.
France would welcome sharing information about epidemiological studies on children. A cohort of 20 000 children is being prepared for a study on health risks from exposure to contaminants."
